Clear a classroom wishlist and support SE Kansas City, MO teachers this school year!
Teachers pour their hearts into their classrooms, and honestly, we think it's time we help fill them with supplies too. ✏️📚
If you've ever talked to a teacher about what they spend each year on their own classroom, you know it's a lot more than most people realize. Crayons, books, flexible seating, basic classroom supplies that should be covered but somehow never quite are. So much of it comes straight out of their own pocket, and they rarely make a big deal about it.
This back-to-school season, we want to change that, even if it's just a little. We're inviting families across Lee's Summit, Blue Springs, Independence, Grain Valley, Raytown, Raymore, Oak Grove, Belton, Kansas City, MO, and nearby communities to come together and support these everyday heroes in a way that actually helps: by clearing classroom wishlists.
Here's how you can be part of it:
🌟 Are you a teacher? Submit your classroom wishlist using the form below and we'll feature it and share it with our readers.
🌟 Know a teacher? Send them our way, or submit their wishlist for them if you have the link handy.
🌟 Want to help? Once wishlists start coming in, browse through and pick one (or two, or three!) to shop from. Even one item off the list makes a difference.
Teachers, Share Your Classroom Wishlist Here
Fill out the quick form below with your classroom wishlist link and a little about what you need. It only takes a minute, and we'll take it from there.
Why Supporting Local Teacher Wishlists Matters
It's easy to forget how much teachers give of themselves, not just their time and patience, but their own money, year after year, just to make sure their students have what they need. A pack of markers or a set of flexible seating cushions might not seem like much on its own, but when a whole community starts chipping in, it adds up to something real. It's one less thing for a teacher to worry about buying, and one more way for kids across our local schools to walk into a classroom that's ready for them.
Let's show up for the people shaping our kids' futures, one classroom wishlist at a time. 💛
Keep checking back as teacher wishlists start rolling in over the next few weeks, and share this with any teacher, parent, or neighbor in the SE Kansas City, MO or surrounding areas who might want to be part of it. Thank you for helping make this back-to-school season a little easier on the people who work so hard for our kids.
